Nibbles IS in his home.

I am a member of PETA since last four years. I have also volunteered
for PFA & SPCA. What I am trying to stress here is that I have a MUCH better knowledge about animal rights, animal cruelty and animal protection.

Nibbles was found as an orphan roaming carelessly in streets. The same streets where vehicles zoom by or hungry street dogs prowling about. People should thank the person who really "rescued" this little baby squirrel.

Harry: Could you please elaborate on the statement that you made in the previous post of "animal care turned out to be a cruel torture"... What really makes you feel that Nibbles is being "tortured"?? Is it the pouch you are talking about, because everyone would agree to the fact
that this cozy pouch is way much better than a twig nest or a hole that he would be living in.

I really doubt your knowledge about animal behavior, because squirrels are very much territorial, and any chance of an orphan squirrel being adopted by other squirrels, is highly unlikely.

I still cannot get your point... do you personally think that Nibbles would have survived on his own, if not rescued? or are you pissed at the way he is being treated?

You have been repeatedly stressing the fact that "Nibbles should be set free". Do you even have any vague idea, if "set free" how he would react in such a hostile environment? Where will he find his food, his shelter??

In my personal opinion, these issues of "animal cruelty" should be raised only by people who are really concerned about animals. People who go out there in the wild, risking their lives to save a helpless soul, know a lot better about animals than a person sitting in the comfort of their home watching Nation Geographic or Animal Planet, and trying to portray that they can sympathize with animals.

If you are thinking that by starting a blog, you will create some commotion and because of that Nibbles will be let free... he will jump out and live happily ever after.. then I am very sorry my friend to disappoint you, but that only happens in Fairy Tales. :)
